Sister Scholfield, Sister Peaches as she is affectionately called, was born in Birmingham AL the first child of Emma Lee and Jeff Coleman. She was raised by her grandparents, the late Elder Eddie B. Hoffman and Evangelist Barzyella Hoffman Assistant Pastor and Teacher at Prayer and Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, Philadelphia, PA. Sister Peaches met Pastor Scholfield at Prayer and Faith Temple and they were married in1968.
Sister Peaches possesses a range of ministry experience, which began at Prayer and Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. Here at Prayer and Faith, Sister Peaches was a youth worker, Sunday school teacher and choir member. She is a teacher of the Word in her own right. Sister Peaches is a supporter of the ministry at Pilgrim often making provisions for the church and its parishioners anonymously. Because of her years of experience, she serves as an important resource for guidance and mentoring.
